Appointment for the post of Programme Assistant
Applications are invited from officers under Central/State Government/Autonomous Bodies/PSUs, for appointment to the post of Programme Assistant in the scale of pay of Rs. 4500-125-7000/- by deputation/absorption, from amongst the officers holding
(i) analogous posts on regular basis or (b) with 5 years’ regular service in posts in the scale of Rs. 4000-100-6000/-
Educational qualifications:­-
Essential: Bachelors’ degree in Statistics/Mathematics(with Statistics)/Economics (with Statistics) (Hons.)/Operations Research, from a recognised university or equivalent and working knowledge of Computer Programme and/or Computer Operation.
Desirable: Knowledge of Programming language like BASIC and FORTON and Word Processing, Debase, Electronic Spread Sheet etc. Period of deputation: Ordinarily not exceeding three years. Terms and conditions of deputation including pay will be governed by the Department of Personnel & Training O.M. No. 2/29/91-Estt.(P.II) dated 5.1.1994 as amended from time to time. Last date for receipt of applications: Applications (in duplicate) in the prescribed proforma may be sent through proper channel within 60 days from the date of publication of this advertisement to the Under Secretary (Admn.), Ministry of Water Resources, Shram Shakti Bhawan, Rafi Marg, New Delhi, New Delhi ­11 0001. While forwarding the applications, the following documents/certificates may positively be furnished by the sponsoring authority:- (i) Particulars given by the applicants are correct;
(ii) No vigilance/disciplinary case is pending or contemplated against the applicant and no major/minor penalty has been imposed during the last 10 years;
(iii) complete and upto-date Confidential Report dossiers;
(iv) in case of selection, the official will be relieved for taking up his new assignment.
